6 Brilliant Breakfasts


Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.
Who is not a fan of breakfast.. It’s that meal of the day which keeps you going, But aren’t you tired of those boring cereals and flakes every day??

So, here we bring to you something that you definitely are going to try and give a healthy and fresh kick start to your day!!

  1.  Masala Pancake

When they say pancakes, we always think of something sweet but in a country like ours savory is the king of breakfast. So, this is a kind of Indian twist to western foods.


For pancakes, in a dry pan add cumin seeds and little salt, dry roast for a while then add some olive oil, minced garlic,ginger and green chilly. Let it cook,and then set aside in a bowl. Once the mixture cools down, add flour,season it and then add an egg (optional).Add milk and whisk well. Make a thin batter and add a tsp of olive oil.
For the filling, in a hot oiled pan add mustard seeds, sliced onions and cook till transparent, add some salt, turmeric, and black pepper. Add cubed boiled potato add toss to combine.

Now on a hot pan ladle the pancake mix, cook from one side then flip to cook the other.

Take it out on a plate, add in the filling roll it over and serve with a dipping sauce made of yogurt and freshly chopped coriander.
Ingredients used

  • For the pancake
    • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 3-4 cloves of garlic chopped
    • 2-3 chopped green chilies
    • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
    • 1 cup of flour
    • 1 egg(optional)
    • 100 ml milk
    • salt and pepper to season
  • For the filling
    • 2 tbsp of olive oil
    • 1 tsp of mustard seeds
    • 2 sliced onions
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2-3 boiled and cubed potatoes
    • salt and pepper to season


  1. Scrambled Eggs
    Who doesn’t like scrambled eggs for breakfast but doing it this way will make it fluffier and creamier than ever before.

In a medium hot pan, add a knob of butter and crack in 2 eggs into it. Take a wooden spatula and start scrambling the eggs inside the pan if you feel the pan is too hot get it off the heat but don’t stop moving the spatula. Once the eggs are almost done, add some fresh cream and season with salt and pepper, top it up with chopped chives and serve on a toasted crispy bread.
Ingredients used

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp of fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives(optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Egg Muffins
    So, eggs are something everyone likes to have for breakfast, But this way give a twist to the regular tale of your eggs and let your palette harmonize with indulgent flavors of this new style breakfast muffins.

    In a pan, add some chopped garlic, onions and bell pepper, season with salt and black pepper,then pour in a bowl. In the bowl add 4 whole eggs and 4 egg whites and whisk well. Oil the muffin tins and pour the mix put some cheese into the tin and set to bake at 350 F for about 15 mins.
    Muffins are ready; you can eat them right away or store to munch on them later.

Ingredients used (10-15 portions)

  • 4 whole eggs
  • 4 egg whites
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 finely chopped bell peppers
  • salt and black pepper to season
  1. Bread Uttapam
    Uttapam a common favorite Indian breakfast, which are easy to make and with a no wait recipe, nothing in the world is better now.

Take slices of bread, cut the corners, and break in small pieces. Then in a grinder, add the bread pieces, suji, maida, curd and a little water and blend till completely smooth. Add all the chopped vegetable and mix to combine and season with salt .Now heat a pan on a medium flame, oil it a little and then pour in the mixture of about 1/2- 1-inch thickness. Brown from both the sides at a medium flame and serve with ketchup coriander chutney or coconut chutney.
Ingredients used

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup suji or semolina
  • 2 tbsp maida or flour
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 finely chopped tomatoes( seedless)
  • few springs or chopped coriander
  • 3-4 chopped green chilies
  • salt to taste
  1. Mix Veg Juice
    You will not find anything as easy to make and tasty to have and healthiest ever. Making breakfast was never this simple before, now no fussy food but the one that fills it up for the day.

All you have to do is add all your vegetables in a grinder and puree well. Season with black salt and pour in a glass and drink..
Ingredients used

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger
  • few springs of coriander
  • 1/2 a lime
  • black salt to taste


  1. Choconut-Parfait

This recipe is as healthy as it is tasty. The only thought of having it will definitely help you wake up early.

To start with, in a bowl add some yogurt and vanilla extract, add peanut butter, cocoa powder, and whisk it together to combine. Layer it in a container then add some sliced bananas on top of it and finish by adding some granola and  salted peanuts.


Ingredients used

  • 50 gm Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 banana sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoon of crushed granola (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of salted peanuts

Breakfast not just guides your way through the day, it keeps the metabolism strong, the blood sugar level controlled, and with the above recipes, you don’t even have to care about this. So set up your alarms, wake up on time and grab a good healthy breakfast before you start your day.
